This summer for my birthday, like we typically do for family birthdays, we went on an outdoor adventure. We drove to Natural Bridges for some water and cave fun! Natural Bridges is 1 mile downhill and 1 mile all uphill with wet clothes and bathing suits, so there were almost no people there because most are lazy and don’t want to do much work.
It was the coolest summer water spot EVER!
It had two entrances and we went through the shorter one. The cave is dark and absolutely freezing, but we brought tubes, so it was a little bit better. It was 250 feet from one side to the other and in the middle-endish, it gets kind of hard to keep going, but it’s worth it! The cave had gorgeous walls and ceilings that stretched up super high in the middle and one entrance and lower in the other side.
Swimming from cave side to cave side was the coolest! I went through a couple times, but after that, I couldn’t take it because it was super cold and I even went under the freezing waterfall for a picture! I would totally recommend heading out to Natural Bridges in Vallecito.
