Kona Coffee Farms

February 27, 2017

On our family vacation to the Big Island in Hawaii, we had to go to the Kona coffee farms. This is one of the only places in the world that can grow coffee. We went to Coffee Joe, Mountain Thunder Coffee, and Hula Daddy.

At every stop, we got to taste coffee. I didn’t of course, but I did get to try tea. Every place had a lot of different flavors. At two of the places, I got to try white and dark chocolate covered coffee beans. They were so good, we bought two bags, one of each.

It was especially cool to get to see how the coffee was made. They all took us through the process from when the berries are picked to the drinkable product.
