I find your lack or nerdiness disturbing”
If you’re a Star Wars fan and didn’t go to the Sacramento Zoo Star Wars Day, you missed out! This day was awesome and full of surprises. You could take pictures with tons of Star Wars characters from the 501st Legion, Rebel Legion, Mandalorian Mercs, and R2 Builders Club. Their costumes were amazing and looked exactly like the movie costumes.
There were so many characters sprinkled across the zoo and a couple even had spots with super cool scenes set up. A few of the characters we met were rebel troops, Darth Maul, numerous Jedis, Emperor Palpatine, Princess Leia as a Bounty Hunter, sand people, Boba Fett, Imperial people, Jawas, Kylo Wren, Ray, Endor people, all kinds of Troopers, plus a bunch more. And the only line, since we got there early, was fro the droids, but that only took 10 minuets to get through and it was right at the entrance and gift shop.
These aren’t the droids you are looking for,”
But in this case these are the exact droids. We just happened to run into R2-D2, BB-8, and R5-D4 and grabbed a picture with a couple troopers in the background! The man who owns them even had a remote that the droids could move around make noise.
The animals in the zoo even had little Star Wars toys and artists from Chalk It Up were doing murals on the animal’s glass and on the ground! I’m so happy that we got to go this year because we’ve been out of town for the others, but this year, we were home! This event was cool for all ages, little kids, teenagers, and even groups of adults with no kids (me when I grow up).
Remember…the Force will be with you, always.”
