Black Chasm Cavern

Black Chasm Cavern

April 1, 2017

Today, my family and I got to go and walk through Black Chasm Cavern in the city of Volcano, California. This cavern was a more vertical cavern and we had to climb a lot of stairs, but it was worth it to see this awesome cavern.

This cave was 225 feet, or 69 meters, including the clear blue lake at the very bottom of the cave. Black Chasm is mostly known for the millions of the helictites protruding from the walls, ceilings, and cracks in the cave. Helictites, unlike stalagmites or stalactites, can grow in any direction and are curly, wavy-like crystals formed from water pressure that bursts our and hardens. These make Black Chasm especially unique because it’s one of the very few caves that has helictites, and even fewer have this many.

Kona Coffee Farm Tours

Kona Coffee Farms

February 27, 2017

On our family vacation to the Big Island in Hawaii, we had to go to the Kona coffee farms. This is one of the only places in the world that can grow coffee. We went to Coffee Joe, Mountain Thunder Coffee, and Hula Daddy.

At every stop, we got to taste coffee. I didn’t of course, but I did get to try tea. Every place had a lot of different flavors. At two of the places, I got to try white and dark chocolate covered coffee beans. They were so good, we bought two bags, one of each.

Dolphin Quest Hawaii

Dolphin Quest at the Hilton Waikoloa

February 22, 2017

This week, for my school’s February Break, my family and I all went to the big island in Hawaii. For the first leg of the trip, we stayed at the Hilton Waikoloa. Our room in the Lagoon Tower looked into pools of dolphins. Turns out, you can pay to do Dolphin Quest. You swim with dolphins, kiss them, pet them, play with them, and learn about dolphins.

Exploding Kittens

September 5, 2015

BOOM… goes the kittens! We jut got a new card game called “Exploding Kittens” and it is crazy fun. There are all sorts of wacky cards such as the fortune telling goat, hairy potato cat, NOPE cards, the unicorn enchilada, and tons more. Those were just 3 examples, imagine a whole deck full of hilarious cards.

My mom, brother and I love to go on game lunches. On these game lunches, we bring card games to play while we eat. When we go to do this, we almost never order regular food, just desserts. Game lunches are our tradition and we got a new game to keep it going with something new.

Pool Party Birthday!

August 29, 2014

My family birthday pool party was SO much fun! We were diving, swimming, jumping, playing, and just having fun! Uncle Matt threw Carter (my brother) into the pool so many times (great photos right?!). It was so much fun to hang out and play in the pool with my whole family!

After we went swimming, I got to have my favorite dessert… ICE CREAM AND DONUTS!

Everyone was super happy to see that treat! We wrapped up by opening my presents — my family gave me so many nice things to celebrate birthday! I am so happy everyone had fun at my party :)

Kimberly and Matt Wedding

You May Now Kiss The Bride

October 6, 2013

I now pronounce You, husband and wife!

It was such a happy day for all of us! Today was the day my Aunt Kimberly and my Uncle Matt got married. I could tell that Kimberly and Matt were extra exited. I am so happy for them… and Uncle Matt is SUPER, SUPER fun to play with and hang out with.

I’m so happy that they are together now, and I could never stop saying that. The whole family was there to support them were so happy to celebrate their wedding.

The wedding was really cute and was at a really pretty destination… my nana and grandpa’s house! The scenery was really pretty and they did the ceremony in a little meadow area. The cake was really cute because it had two frogs doing yoga on it — and Aunt Kimberly and Uncle Matt love to do yoga together.

Now, about serving that cake, I heard it was supposed to be Carmel brownie…
