This year to celebrate the birthdays of the girls in our family, we went on a girls trip to Las Vegas. I had never been and I’m glad I got to because it was so fun. I got to do so many new and awesome things on the girls trip!
The Strip was incredible to explore and check out the huge stores and themed hotels. Old Vegas was incredible to experience, too!
Old Vegas
Old Vegas is vastly underrated and was the coolest thing to see ever. There were so many bright old neon lights all over along with the giant slot machine and light tunnel. We went here with the Mabry’s to go zip lining down Freemont Street with SlotZilla. Turns out, we signed up for Superman style zip lining on our stomachs. We ended up doing this at 2:00 in the morning from 114 feet up going 40 miles per hour, 1750 feet down the street. It was an incredible experience I will not forget.
We had so much in Las Vegas, Nevada on our family girl’s trip and I can’t wait to go back and explore some more.
Stores
There were a few stores that I had a blast looking around in! We got to go in the four floor M&M World store and it was perfect for any candy lover. There were so many different colors and types of M&Ms and merchandise. Another chocolate lover’s paradise was the two floored Hershey World store that features candy sculptures of the Statue of Liberty, an amazing sweets and desserts counter, and tons of different candies and merchandise.
Shows
I was so pumped that we got to see two Vegas shows! The first one was the Blue Man Group at the Luxor. Their show was incredible and so entertaining. We also did a meet and greet at the end which was awesome. The show featured lots of paint, music, comedy, and lights. The other show we saw was Mystere, an outstanding cirque du soleil that had thrilling acrobatics and performers. That one was my favorite and had many unbelievable acts and people in it.
Hotels
There were so many unbelievable hotels, but a few really stood out. My favorites were New York, The Venetian, Paris, Treasure Island, the Luxor, Caesar’s Palace, and Excalibur. All of the unique decorations and themed insides were spectacular. New York, New York felt like walking through the real New York City with the painted ceiling and store front. My nana and I also rode the roller coaster which was way more fun and longer than it looked! Inside the Paris hotel, we took the elevator up to the top of the famed Las Vegas Eiffel Tower. This hotel also had a sky-looking ceiling and it seemed as though you were strolling down a street in Paris. The Venetian was amazing as well because it was phenomenally built and had indoor waterways, bridges, and amazing architecture. All of the hotels were unique and absolutely breathtaking.
We had so much in Las Vegas, Nevada on our family girl’s trip and I can’t wait to go back and explore some more of the hotels, stores, and see some more shows.
