I haven’t been ice skating in years, but this winter I’ve been twice, both at the Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink with my best friends! I forgot how much fun it is, even if you fall a few times. The ice rink downtown is newly renovated and is the perfect place to hand out and have fun!
STOMP is finally at Broadway Sacramento for its 25th Anniversary National Tour and you have to see it! Through the dance and music, I was in awe the entire time. The show is unique, captivating, comical, full of energy, and entertaining for everyone who attends. Any every day item from brooms, inner tubes, garbage cans, plastic bags, and even just the actor’s bodies are utilized to create incredible percussion and the famed “Rhythm of New York.”
It’s that time of year again and the Sacramento County Fair is back in town! Featuring amazing food, super fun rides, fantastic shows, an abundance of animals, and more, the fair is an awesome experience for everyone. The fair is May 24 through Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, 2018, at the CalExpo Fairgrounds. This is the 82nd year of the fair with the theme Let’s Eat, Have Fun, And Celebrate The Red, White, And Blue. There are so many fun things to whether your with friends or family at the Sacramento County Fair.
Media Preview Night: Food and Fun
The preview night for media and bloggers was lots of fun and we had a chance to try some pretty awesome food and check out the rides and entertainment.
Welcome to the wild side.
On this vacation, my family and I got to experience the best zoo in the world… the San Diego Zoo. We went with my Aunt Julie, Uncle Dustin, and my cousins Riley and Chloe to have a fun time together. I thought that this zoo was beyond amazing. The animals were so interesting and fun to look at. We saw animals like different types of monkeys and apes, flamingos, kolas, giraffes, gazelles, polar bears, and my all time favorite, the elephants. If I told you about every animal they have, this post would never end. At every animal sanctuary, I learned something new about it.
At Elephant Odyssey (the elephant habitat) there were life-size statues of them that you could take pictures with. Of course we did, but I was waiting for the real thing. There was also a really cute shrub cut to look like an elephant. I even bought 2 elephant necklaces and a mini, beaded, elephant statue (because I have a collection)! I never wanted to leave the beautiful elephants, but eventually we had to make it to all of the other animals.
